Hello! Welcome to Little Hearts and Minds.

As a qualified and registered Early Years and Primary School teacher, I’ve always believed that the earliest steps in a child’s learning journey are some of the most powerful. These moments - full of wonder, curiosity, and discovery - lay the foundation for everything that follows. And it’s my greatest joy to walk alongside children and families during this important time.

Little Hearts and Minds was born from my deep passion for school readiness and early intervention. I created it as a nurturing, supportive space where every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to grow in their own unique way. Whether your child is building early literacy skills, developing independence, or simply learning to feel confident in a group setting, my aim is always the same: to help them flourish.

Drawing on my experience in both early childhood and primary education, I use play-based, multi-sensory, and evidence-informed approaches tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. I truly believe that learning should feel joyful, purposeful, and personal, because when children feel safe and supported, they thrive.

I also deeply value the role of families in a child’s learning journey. My goal is not only to support your child but to empower you with practical tools, insights, and encouragement along the way. Together, we can help your little one feel prepared, capable, and excited for their next steps.

It’s a privilege to be part of this season of growth, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside families as their children grow, explore, and discover all they’re capable of.

Our Space

You’ll find Little Hearts & Minds upstairs at We Rock the Spectrum in Somerville, located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and surrounded by local cafés and conveniences. There’s easy on-site parking, and families can enter through the main We Rock the Spectrum doors — where you’ll be warmly welcomed and guided to our calm, light-filled upstairs space.

Our environment has been purposefully designed to reflect a small, nurturing classroom setting - creating a sense of familiarity and routine while still feeling warm, safe, and personal. Whether your child is attending for school readiness or early intervention support, our space is thoughtfully set up to meet their individual needs.
